An intensive five days international training on Survey Data Analysis Techniques using open source software ‘R’ was successfully completed. The training was conducted from December 24 to 28, 2018 at the Institute for Social and Environmental Research-Nepal (ISER-N) premise, Chitwan. The five days course was taught by Dr. Dirgha Jibi Ghimire, Professor, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, USA and Director, ISER-N, Nepal; and  Dr. Keshav Pokhrel, Professor, University of Michigan-Dearborn, USA; Mr. Bishnu Adhikari, Graduate Student, University of West Georgia, USA, Ms. Rija  Manandhar, Senior Research Officer, ISER-N. Altogether 11 participants from Nepal attended the course. The training was jointly organized by ISER-N and Population Studies Center (PSC) of the University of Michigan, USA.
